We do one thing: recover money that Amazon has taken from first-party vendors in error. We work with a small number of vendors each year, on a performance-fee basis, and we are paid only out of what we recover.
Why the practice exists
Nobody owns this problem.
Vendor deductions fall between two teams. Finance sees a remittance that is short and books it as a cost of doing business with Amazon. E-commerce sees a margin line that will not reconcile and assumes finance has it handled.
Neither team is wrong to leave it. Chasing a single shortage claim properly takes an hour of document work for a few hundred dollars. Doing that across six deduction categories and five years of history is thousands of hours nobody has been given. So it sits there, compounding quietly, until somebody adds it up.
Adding it up is what we do. The audit is free precisely because the number it produces is usually enough to make the decision obvious.

A report telling you that $600K is recoverable is not the job. Assembling the evidence, filing the claim, absorbing the rejection and re-disputing it with the gap closed is the job. That is where the money actually moves.
Every claim carries its evidence
Amazon rejects thin disputes, and a rejected claim is harder to win the second time. Nothing goes out without the purchase order, the invoice, the delivery record and whatever else that category needs.
We tell you when there is nothing there
Some accounts are genuinely clean, and some are too small for the audit to be worth anyone's time. We would rather say so in week one than bill you for a year of monitoring.
We are paid the same way you get paid
Out of recovered cash, after it lands. If the claims do not get paid, neither do we, which keeps us working the categories that actually return money rather than the ones that look impressive in a deck.
